We hope everyone is having successful attempts at getting their machines modified, serviced, etc for the season if you have not already! You can see the bikes out the business is jumping at our local shops!!
Myrtle Beach is just around the corner along with SMOKEOUT and of course RIDE 11!!
***Discussions have come up once again for the elusive “FRIENDS AND FAMILY RIDE”… The foundation or the plan is that this trip will need be one that all parts of a family can enjoy fairly close for those that have partners that may want to ride and also
if you would like to bring other things.. and the request has also been made ..”near the water”…
With that said we are going to throw out Friends and Family Ride to Emerald Isle NC. This is a good ride north, with beaches, availability to ride to Swansboro, Atlantic Beach, Carteret, Beaufort, New Bern Etc….We could leave on a Friday morning and return Saturday or Sunday. All we need is commitment and dates… After which we can explore houses, hotels, camping , etc……Maybe July 20, 2018. We are open for input and will plan a meeting prior to RIDE 11 to decide.
Ride 11 shirts and apparel will be available by the end of the month, shirts, shop shirts, hoodies etc…. Get by Hard Knox Cycles and get your specialty requests in early…!!
As usual there is a lot going on in our town as the weather changes expansion, renovations, and moves. Please keep us informed of any events. We will also give you announcements of any bike nights etc as they develop.
RIDE Plan is as follows currently:
Pre party / meeting at Dempsey’s Wednesday, June 27, 2018.
Depart from Ruth’s Kitchen on Thursday, June 28, 2018 @ 7:00 am to Charleston with various stops and the traditional poker run along the way ( twenty dollars per hand/card)..
We will return on Sunday, July 1, 2018.
Just as usual a special request we try to wear as much Behind Bars Apparel as possible while on the ride and out and about..
Tentative outline with details to follow:
Thursday we will get there settle in draw last card at upstairs bar/lounge and hit a local spot (SALTY MIKES) find dinner etc.
Friday ride to Folley Beach return AND PREPARE for annual dinner and nightlife Dinner and
( VIP NIGHT)
( HONKY TONK SALOON- WITH DJ AFTER DINNER)
Saturday ride to James Island for day and return for nightlife
TEX MEX DINNER AT NEW SPOT OPENING EL EFFE OPENING MAY 1ST !)
Head out downtown
Sunday get up ride home.
